1. Scope of this document

1.1. Cookies are small files that a website stores in your browser. This document also covers similar technologies: the browser’s local storage and visitor counters.

1.2. This document applies to the website of the TIM|BALE online store.

1.3. How personal data is processed is described in the privacy notice.

2. Strictly necessary cookies

2.1. The cart, account sign-in, wishlist and recently viewed products (the “Recently viewed” block) are stored in the browser’s local storage: without it, it is not possible to place an order or sign in to your account.

2.2. The website’s own cookie: sf_consent records your cookie choice and is stored for 180 days.

2.3. These are set without consent, as the store cannot function without them (Article 5(3) of Directive 2002/58/EC).

3. Analytics cookies

3.1. These cookies show which pages visitors use, where they come from and where they encounter difficulties. We use this information to fix errors and improve the store.

3.2. The store’s own statistics: information about visits, namely pages viewed, referral source, time spent on a page, device type, product views, the cart and checkout; if the customer is logged in to their personal account, the visit is linked to their user account. For this purpose, tb-vid, an anonymised visitor identifier, is stored in the browser’s local storage, together with the referral source (tb-first-touch) for the duration of the visit, which is recorded in the order. This information is held by the seller and is not disclosed to third parties.

3.3. The Yandex Metrica counter is set up on the website for analytics purposes; its name is shown in the consent banner.

3.4. Counter data are transferred to the Russian Federation, in respect of which there is no European Commission adequacy decision. The transfer takes place only after you have consented to analytics cookies and is based on that consent (Article 49(1)(a) GDPR).

3.5. Analytics cookies and the store’s own statistics operate only after consent has been given. Until consent is given, the counter is not launched, and neither tb-vid nor the referral source is stored in the browser.

4. Advertising cookies

4.1. No advertising or marketing cookies are set on the website, and no advertising pixels are installed.

4.2. Should they be introduced, they will be set only after separate consent has been given, and this document will be updated.

5. Managing consent

5.1. Consent is requested in a banner on your first visit to the website. Refusing is as easy as consenting: “Decline” takes a single click.

5.2. Until you make your decision, no non-essential cookies are set and no counters are launched.

5.3. Your decision is stored in the sf_consent cookie for 180 days. You may change or withdraw it at any time via the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page or by emailing info@timbale.pro. When consent is withdrawn, the website deletes tb-vid and the referral source from the browser.

5.4. Cookies can be deleted or blocked in your browser settings. If essential cookies are blocked, it will not be possible to place an order.

6. List of cookies

6.1. The website’s own cookie is sf_consent (cookie decision, 180 days). In the browser’s local storage, the website stores the cart, account login, favourites and the list of recently viewed products and, with consent to analytics, the anonymised identifier tb-vid and, for the duration of the visit, the referral source (tb-first-touch). The Yandex Metrica counter cookies are set by the service itself; their composition and retention periods are described in its documentation.
